Hand distressed garments, and the amount of attention to detail and work required to achieve them, inspired the elephant boots. The upper is constructed out of a thick but very soft leather that has been skived, patched with a cream leather, and then lined with hand dyed raw silk. Maple banana heels were constructed to be reminiscent of tusks. Fully functional buttons line the front of each boot.
